The Deway School provides an extensive range of over 200 Core Curriculum, AP, Honors, and Elective online courses for students in grades K-12. These courses are enhanced by direct-instruction videos featuring credentialed teachers, who are also available to support and guide student learning. Our curriculum is research-based and designed to meet the stringent state and national standards, ensuring a high-quality educational experience. Additionally, we offer differentiated education to cater to the needs of gifted students.
In alignment with the California Department of Education's recommendations, the Deway School adheres to a prescribed sequence of courses. This approach is aimed at preparing all students to graduate ready for college. Below is an outline of the minimum course requirements as per the California education code.

Our online school counseling programs not only help students prepare for their college application, they also help students to develop specialized pathways based on their talents, learning styles, personal interests and formal assessments. The Deway School has identified and developed six specialized learning pathways for students. In addition to their core courses, high school students at the our online school select and enroll in elective courses focused in six specialized learning pathways.
